What Should You Expect on Your First Visit With Us?

At Adkins Family Chiropractic our examinations procedures are geared toward detection and correction of the "Vertebral Subluxation" (click on this link for more information on subluxations). The procedures we use are therefore specifically selected for your spine and nervous system health. There are a couple of things that you should expect when you have a first visit at our clinic.

Our Examination consists of a thorough spinal and nervous system exam which includes "Palpation". Palpation essentially is checking your spine by hand. With this exam the doctor can feel areas of your spine that may be involved with subluxations problems. Spinal position, curvatures and muscle tone can also be examined as it relates to possible spinal subluxations.

In our office Your first visit involves Specific Analysis of Your Body using the Adjusting Instrument Type Protocol with additional analysis of other Extrinsic factors effecting the body. Xrays are used in cases involving severe trauma or for other cases where x-rays are indicated.

Your evaluation may also include Computerized Range of Motion testing or Computerized Muscle Testing. Rest assured that you will receive the highest quality care in this office.
